Matt is a second-year MBA candidate pursuing concentrations in Corporate Finance and Entrepreneurship. Prior to Kenan-Flagler Business School, Matt served in the US Merchant Marine as a Second Officer, where he transported jet fuel for the US Navy on unlimited-tonnage oil tankers. He is also a Lieutenant in the US Navy Reserve. Upon graduation, Matt will be joining the Consumer Retail Group at Morgan Stanley as an Investment Banking Associate in New York. He holds a B.S. in Marine Transportation, Logistics, and Security from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.

Prior to Kenan-Flagler Business School, Joe was a Manager at Deloitte, where he specialized in advising clients on M&A tax matters. This previous summer, he was a summer associate at BlackArch Partners in Charlotte, where he will be returning upon graduation. He spent this previous summer with Bank of America as an Investment Banking Summer Associate, where he will be returning as a full-time associate upon graduation. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Economics from East Carolina University.

Prior to attending Kenan-Flagler Business School, Alex worked as a Senior Analyst at Arbor Realty Trust, where he managed debt investments in the multifamily real estate sector. He holds a B.B.A. in Finance and Risk Management & Insurance from the University of Georgia. This past summer, Alex was with Piper Sandler’s Services & Industrials group in Charlotte and will be joining the firm after graduation.

In her free time, Madhu enjoys tennis, hiking, baking, and traveling.

Prior to that, he worked on the Investment Professionals team at Warren Equity Partners. On campus, Sam is a Sector Head for the Reynolds Investment Fund and plays on the club basketball team. Prior to that, he worked across investment banking, private equity, and real estate roles. At Chapel Hill, Andrew is a sector head on the Reynolds Fund and an advisory mentor for the Catalyst Group. He previously served as co-president of the UNC M&A group. Outside of school, Andrew enjoys racing, golf, travel, and watching all sports.
